Begin with a transfer to Casablanca. On Day 1, visit Rabat’s Kasbah of Oudaya, Mausoleum, and Hassan Tower, then head to Meknes to see Bab el Mansour and Hri Souani, before arriving in Fes. Day 2 takes you through Ifrane and Midelt, with stops at Ziz Valley and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga for a camel trek and a night in a desert camp. Day 3 includes a sunrise in the desert, followed by visits to Rissani, Todra Gorge, and Dades Gorge, ending in Tinghir. On Day 4, drive through the Thousand Kasbahs, explore Dades Valley, visit Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, before arriving in Marrakech.

  • Begin with a visit to the Kasbah of Oudaya in Rabat, built in the 12th century by the Almohads.
  • Explore the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a masterpiece of traditional Moroccan architecture.
  • Visit the Hassan Tower minaret, an iconic monument in Rabat.
  • Travel to Meknes, known as “the Moroccan Versailles.” See the impressive Bab el Mansour gate, built in 1732 by Moulay Abdellah, and the Hri Souani granaries and stables.
  • Optional lunch at a local restaurant in Meknes.
  • Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis, a former Berber city occupied by the Romans.
  • Arrive in Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco.
  • Meet your guide and depart from Fez at 8 AM.
  • Stop in Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and visit the private Al Akhawayn University.
  • Have lunch in Midelt, then drive through the Middle Atlas mountains, observing palm tree oases.
  • Continue to Errachidia, the beginning of the Saharian zone, and photograph the Ziz Valley.
  • Visit Erfoud, known for its fossils, and explore a local marble factory.
  • If time allows, visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chrif in Rissani.
  • Arrive at Erg Chebbi, enjoy a cup of tea, and prepare for a camel trek to a desert camp.
  • Spend the night in the desert camp with dinner and Berber live music.
  • Early morning optional sunrise from the dunes.
  • After breakfast, head to Rissani, known for its date production and historical significance as Sijilmasa.
  • Visit the date market and Erfoud’s fossil sites.
  • Explore the 12th-century underground irrigation channels and enjoy mint tea with Berber music.
  • Visit the Todgha Gorges, walk through with a guide, and learn about the traditional irrigation system and agriculture.
  • Visit a Berber family to see traditional carpets and artisanal crafts.
  • Return to Tinghir for the night.
  • Depart from the Todgha Gorges and drive along the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs.”
  • Visit the Dades Gorges and valley, have lunch with a local Berber family, and take a cooking course.
  • Explore the Amrhidil Kasbah and the valley of roses, known for its rose-based cosmetic products and annual Rose Festival.
  • Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the Taourirt Kasbah.
  • Tour the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 11th century.
  • Depart for Marrakech and spend the night in this vibrant city.
